The DoD Disinformation Agency, Homeland Division:
Your Tax Dollars At Work.

In the final guest segment on CNN's Crossfire Program, the Friday, Feb. 7, 2003 Edition, one of the three architects of Saddam Hussein's Nuclear Weapon Program, a defector, and an author of a book on the same subject, was "interviewed".

The questions, by Begala and Carlson, obviously, and pointedly over-scripted, quickly (it was the shortest guest segment on the show) revealed the following facts to the American viewer:

1- Saddam wanted three nuclear bombs, one for each of the major Israeli population centers to be developed;

2- Saddam planned to use the weapons as a counter to the Israeli's much more massive nuclear weapon arsenal - as a bargaining chip;

3- If Saddam couldn't get all three devices, he would settle for a quick one being built, without the usual protocol of testing;

4-Saddam used chemical weapons against American forces in the Gulf War. He did so by placing the chemical weapons in the path of the forward marching American forces.

5- Those chemical weapons are the cause of the American Soldiers' Gulf War Syndrome, as well as the cancers and illnesses of many Iraqi soldiers.

6- That France, sold Saddam the equipment leading to the production of nuclear weapons. The "French" knew the equipment would be used to make a nuclear weapons, because they (the French) laughed, winked, and nodded at the Iraqis answering the question of what they (the Iraqis) would do with the equipment, with, "Oh, you know, the regular peaceful uses of the atom."

7- That Germany, sold Saddam the equipment leading to the production of nuclear weapons. The "Germans" knew the equipment would be used to make a nuclear weapons, because they (the Germans) laughed, winked, and nodded at the Iraqis answering the question of what they (the Iraqis) would do with the equipment, with, "Oh, you know, the regular peaceful uses of the atom."

Pause for an analysis break- The show will be right back:

I knew this Iraqi was a disinformation plant by this time. No question in my mind. I simply, however, had only analytical evidence at this point.

His presentation of propaganda, with some factual elements of partial-birth truth, interspersed within the disinfo, for the effect of creating credibility, is typical of the disinformation presentation.

Yes, Saddam probably wanted the weapons as a bargaining chip. He probably was familiar with the concept of MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction).(Also known as the you don't poo-poo when you're downwind where you eat policy.)

Yes, there are many sick American, and probably Iraqi, soldiers. But the Depleted Uranium (D.U.) weapons used by the Americans probably account for the largest portion of the current sicknesses. But Mr. Defector should know the largest impact, by far, of the weapons used in the Gulf War, impacting the civilian population, were caused by the American D.U. weapons - creating a 4.5 billion year (minimum) birth defect problem in Iraq.

But this was a quick interview, and quite possibly, the defector just didn't get asked the question which would lead to the D.U. damage revelation.

The depiction of the evil French and German companies, both acting in this case as surrogates for the "evil" French and German Governments, as companies (countries) which will sell Saddam ANYTHING for a buck, was a truly "blessed" coincidence for the Bush administration, since France and Germany are opposing U.S. unilateral invasion of Iraq.

(Can we see the U.S. Homelanders audience verbally throwing tomatoes at those nasty French and German governments ?) Of course, there was also no time to mention Cheney's much more recent Halliburton Technology Sales to Iraq, as well as many other companies from other countries doing business with Saddam right under the nose of the U.S.Sanctions.

Mr. Defector however, possibly tiring at the rapid-fire, pre-formed questioning sequence, made a slight faux-pas, when he casually made reference to the French Nuclear inspectors in Iraq - Ooops - you mean the laughing, winking and nodding French had inspectors monitoring the Iraqi's implementation of the atoms for peace program. (We can probably rest assured it was just another French Charade by the evil French.) Mr. Defector needs further training in disinformation techniques - never add any casual asides - NEVER - stay with the script!)

And know, back to the program:

8- Mr Defector, seemingly well pleased with his prime time performance, as the interview was wrapping up, (to allow Tucker time to make at least several more chauvinistic slurs against the French) was staring to get a little more casual, a little more chatty - EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TERRITORY FOR THE PROFESSIONAL DISINFORMATION AGENT.

9-In closing, Mr. Deflector casually, and unaskedly, reveals that he is in mental possession of the Pentagon Contingency Plans in the terrorist-Iraqi connection area.

Alright - CUT - STOP THE CAMERAS - this is why live TV is so dangerous to the disinformation process.

Mr. Defector, in his self-smugness, has just revealed, not only his employer, the Pentagon, aka, Donald Rumsfeld, but also that he is so well connected in the DoD/Pentagon cabal, that he is privy to Pentagon Emergency Contingency Plans. WHAT ??

A defector, a person always suspect of possibly being a double agent, is in the Pentagon inner circle of Contingency Planning ?

Take Mr. Defector behind the Pentagon, and terminate this James Bond wanna-be, this Maxwell Smart, with extreme prejudice! Better yet, send him back to Saddam! He has blown his cover on national TV, and can be of no further use to The DoD Disinformation Agency, Homeland Division.

Thank You CNN. Thank You Crossfire. Thank You Mr. Defector.
